Privacy policy

A plain-language account of what this site does and does not collect. You will find it is far less than you might expect.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

The one-line version:Every tool on this site runs locally in your browser — nothing you type ever leaves your device. The only place that sends anything out is the feedback box, because a message has to be stored somewhere for me to read it.

1. Your content is never uploaded

Everything you type, paste or drop into any tool here — text, images, QR codes, JSON — is processed entirely in your own browser and is never sent to any server. You can verify this easily: open your browser developer tools (press F12), switch to the Network tab, and use any tool. You will see no data leaving.

This is also why the site has no account system — if there is no data to store, there is no data of yours sitting on someone else's server.

2. What the feedback box collects

The feedback box is the single exception. When you submit a message there, the following is sent and stored:

This is used only to understand demand and improve the tools. It is never published verbatim, never sold, and never used for anything else. Please do not include passwords, ID numbers, card numbers or other sensitive information.

3. How messages are handled and deleted

Messages are stored with the form provider and in my own inbox. If you would like a message you submitted to be deleted, just send an email saying so and I will remove it within a reasonable time. An accepted request may appear in the changelog as 'suggested by a user', but never with your original text or contact details.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site uses no cookies for user tracking and runs no advertising or behavioural analytics scripts. Nothing follows you here, so nothing you see is targeted because you were remembered.

If an analytics tool is ever introduced to count visits, I will choose one that does not rely on cookies and does not build personal profiles, and I will note the change here.

5. Third-party services

To operate, this site relies on the following third parties, each with its own privacy policy:

6. Children

This is a general-purpose tool site. It does not collect personal information from children and has no feature that asks for identity details. If you are below the legal age, please use it with a guardian's knowledge.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in substance, I will update the 'last updated' date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site means you accept the revised version.

8. Contact
